Sensex slips 100 pts, Nifty50 below 12,000

Markets opened a shade lower on Friday after Moody's Investors Services downgraded India's outlook from 'stable' to 'negative'. The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex was trading at 40,530 level. On NSE, the Nifty50 was hovering around 11,970-mark. Investors reacted to rejig in the MSCI index. DLF gained over 3 per cent and Colgate Palmolive added over 2 per cent on being added to the index. On the other hand, YES bank slipped over 4 per cent after the bank was dropped in the November rebalancing.
